Stuart Ave Designs is Now StitchedbyTempa

If You Ever Bought Something From "Stuart Ave Designs," Read This

Every so often someone finds an old Etsy order or an old tag that says Stuart Ave Designs and messages me a little confused — is this shop still around, is it connected to me, can you still make me the same items?

Good news: that was me. That's still me. A couple years ago I changed the name to StitchedbyTempa, and since most of those old sales happened over on Etsy, many of you will find this post after trying to find me there.

Two reasons for the switch. First, Stuart Ave Designs was a name for a shop that hadn't figured out what it wanted to be — it could've sold candles, could've sold anything -- I even made tile coasters! StitchedbyTempa describes what's true: it's embroidered, and it's made by me. Second, around the same time I doubled down on what people actually kept buying — the snarky towels, the embroidered hats, the 1900s tees, the MERRY sweatshirts. New name, sharper focus, same shop.

Everything else is exactly the same: still machine embroidered, still made by me start to finish, still the towels you screenshot and send to the group chat with "THIS IS SO YOU." If you've got something from the old days, it's a real StitchedbyTempa product. I'm also bringing a few of the hero pieces — think snarky towels — back onto that Etsy shop, so it won't stay empty. But stitchedbytempa.com is still home base for everything current.

If Stuart Ave Designs is how you found me, welcome to the sequel — same chaos, just under the name that's more mine. 😁
